This song, as many know, is talking about scott stapp's child being born. I like these kinds of songs for more then one reason. One is that he wrote these lyrics himslef. When a musician just pasys someone to create lyrics for them to sing, it won't even be on the sam level emotionally or musically as the musician who writes his own. See, people like josh groban need to learn how to write, or just shut up. I can't stand thos fakes. Another thing that sticks out is that this actually happened to him, which makes it so great. He's not writing about some make-belief story... this is his LIFE. good post jeff, but uh, did you ever get a messenger service? cause it would be cool to chat sometime because there is never anybody on anymore(not that have time to talk anyway). So yea. I'm gonna shut up now

I'm workin on getting yahoo (not the admin of me comp)... the comment mod. was because of some donkey that liked to spread around his smell of doom...
For me I tend to listen to the lyrics and sort of interpret them to what it happening in my life.
I love this song, man I love that entire album. For me this song makes me think about how I receive life around me.
Although the song was written about the writter son being born, it helps me live in the moment... to receive life and all that He has for me in it - With Arms Wide Open.
